Investigation into AbduRahman's murder

Alif Alif Atoll Maalhos, July 14, 2025: A large police team is on the scene in Maalhos to investigate the murder of AbduRahman Adam, 65, of Orchidmaage. Officers are also collecting information on individuals who entered or left the island around the time of the incident. The victim’s body has been transported to the hospital for further analysis, with police confirming plans to send it abroad for post-mortem. Police arrived on Monday at an area near the home where AbduRahman lived and conducted searches across nearby vegetation and along the beachside. According to police, AbduRahman was asleep when the attack occurred and sustained serious injuries. Forensic samples have been collected from those who entered the residence, and several individuals have been questioned.
